AgentMail
AgentMail's core technology was hard to grasp in a 30-second pitch. I designed an interactive demo system that let prospects experience three perspectives of the product, resulting in designs now being built for official launch by the engineering team.

AgentMail is a Y Combinator–backed startup building email infrastructure purpose-built for AI agents. The platform provides an API-first way for developers to create and manage inboxes for autonomous agents, enabling them to send, receive, and act on emails just like humans, but at scale.
Empathize
Sales professionals often manage hundreds of emails per day, many of which are low-intent, repetitive, or time-sensitive.
Existing inboxes treat all messages equally, forcing users to manually scan, triage, and respond, leading to missed high-value leads, slow response times, and cognitive overload and burnout.
Define
Based on the pain points above, my goal was to design an demo inbox interface that:
Helps a new user understand how to use AgentMail
Reduces cognitive load
Makes AI assistance feel supportive, not intrusive
Is intuitive and accurate enough to be trusted in real sales workflows
Because this was a demo, the focus was on clarity, believability, and narrative. We wanted to show how the product could fit naturally into a real inbox.
Ideate
This project taught me that effective product demos must prioritize clarity for the target user. AgentMail’s concept of autonomous mailboxes can be difficult to grasp in the abstract, but grounding the demo through user personas and use cases made the system immediately more approachable.
I made a three-mailbox system to breakdown the product from three separate perspectives, and kept the interface design clean, straight-to-the-point, and aligned with AgentMail's existing branding.
User
What the users (salespeople) see when they use AgentMail (triage, context, controls).
System
An operational view showing how the agent generates emails and runs through its workflow on the front end.
Client
A standard-looking inbox view showing the finalized, agent-written emails successfully delivered to clients (seamless enough that recipients don’t know AI wrote them).

Outcome & Reflection
With more time, I would perform usability testing to confirm that users of all experience levels can understand agent behavior through this demo without feeling overwhelmed.
As of early 2026, my high-fidelity design is being developed by software engineers for official launch.
